2.5L Full Depth Plastic Frame Feeder

Feed bees from inside the hive with the 2.5L Plastic Feeder - Full Depth from Hornsby Beekeeping Supplies.

This frame-style feeder occupies one frame width and hangs inside the hive in place of a standard frame.

It has a 2.5 litre capacity and is made from 100% virgin food-grade polyethylene.

One Frame Width

The feeder is designed to occupy the space of one frame.

To install it, remove a suitable frame position and hang the feeder inside the hive.

This provides a compact feeding option without adding a feeder above the hive or through the entrance.

2.5 Litre Capacity

The feeder holds 2.5 litres.

This gives you a useful internal feeding capacity while retaining a footprint similar to a frame.

For beekeepers who prefer an in-hive feeder rather than an external feeding setup, the 2.5L format provides a simple option.

Made from Virgin Food-Grade Polyethylene

The feeder is manufactured from 100% virgin food-grade polyethylene.

This is the stated material used for the feeder body and clearly identifies the plastic construction for customers comparing feeding equipment.

Feed Sugar Syrup

The feeder can be used for sugar syrup.

Because it sits inside the hive, the feed remains within the colony space rather than outside the hive entrance.

Can Also Hold Dry Sugar

During winter feeding, the feeder can also be used for dry sugar.

This gives the product more than one feeding application depending on the type of supplementary feed you plan to provide.

Full Depth Format

The feeder is designed around a full-depth frame position.

Make sure your hive setup provides the required full-depth space before installation.
