Hive Alive 500 ml

Add targeted nutritional support to fed syrup with Hive Alive 500 ml from Hornsby Beekeeping Supplies.

Hive Alive is a concentrated liquid feed supplement made with a blend of seaweed extracts, thymol and lemongrass oil.

The 500 ml size gives you a useful option between the small 100 ml bottle and larger bulk packs.

Convenient 500 ml Size

The 500 ml format is suitable for beekeepers who use Hive Alive regularly but do not require a multi-litre container.

It is straightforward to store and measure from during routine syrup preparation.

Add to Sugar Syrup

Hive Alive is designed to be mixed into sugar syrup.

Prepare your feed as normal and then add the supplement at the required rate.

Recommended Rate

Mix 2.5mL of Hive Alive into each litre of syrup.

Accurate measuring helps maintain the intended concentration throughout the batch.

Use After Honey Harvest

Hive Alive can be used in fed syrup at the end of the honey harvest once honey supers have been removed.

This is the recommended timing for incorporating the supplement into post-harvest feeding.

Formulated for Honeybees

The concentrated formula includes seaweed extracts together with thymol and lemongrass oil.

It is designed to support honeybee health, help maintain gut health and support colony strength.

Supports Overwintering

Hive Alive is also used as part of feeding programs intended to support overwintering success.

As with any supplementary feed, use it as part of a wider hive-management approach based on colony needs and available stores.

Simple Liquid Format

The liquid formulation is easy to measure and add to syrup.

You do not need to change feeders simply to use the supplement.
