Mount Over a Centre Opening

The escape attaches to a suitable board using four screws.

Position it over a central opening and place the completed clearer board below the honey super you want to remove.

Bees move down through the escape towards the brood area.

Designed for Efficient Clearing

Under suitable conditions, Hornsby notes that a box may be cleared in around 12 hours.

Actual time can vary according to temperature, colony strength and bee behaviour, so inspect conditions rather than treating the timing as a guarantee.

Two Exit Routes

Two outlets give bees multiple ways to leave the super.
